Tolhuin Full day

Tolhuin es un pueblo que se encuentra a mitad de camino entre Ushuaia y Rio Grande.

Para visitarlo, Salimos de Ushuaia por la Ruta Nac 3, atravesamos los Andes en Paso Garibaldi, con vista panorámica de valles glaciarios y los Lagos Escondido y Fagnano.

Ingresaremos a la Reserva Provincial Rio Valdez hasta llegar a la Laguna del Indio, donde podremos caminar un sendero accesible y tomar fotos. Luego tomamos nuevamente la Ruta 3 la Hosteria Kaiken y accederemos a Tolhuin atravesando una Pasarela natural, formada por una morena glaciaria.

How is the tour like?

​

Tolhuin is a “pueblo” (little town) that is halfway between Ushuaia and Rio Grande.

For our visit, we will leave Ushuaia on National Route 3 and cross the Andes at Paso Garibaldi, providing a panoramic view of glacial valleys and of Lakes Escondido and FagnanoWe will travel through the Rio Valdez Provincial Reserve until we reach “Laguna del Indio”. Once there, we will take an easy walk and will have ample opportunity to take photos. Afterwards, we will travel on National Route 3 again to our next destination, “Hosteria Kaiken, where we will access Tolhuin through a natural walkway, formed by a glacial moraine.
