City Tour

Te invitamos a hacer un recorrido por los lugares que hicieron historia en nuestra ciudad. Comenzamos con la ubicación geográfica y lo que hace de Ushuaia un destino único y diferente

entre los Andes y el Canal Beagle. En el trayecto haremos referencia a los primeros pobladores: los Yamanas, los misioneros anglicanos, llegada de los primeros argentinos, apertura y cierre del presidio, establecimiento de la Ley de promoción industrial y sus consecuencias. 

Bahía Ushuaia, Bahía Encerrada, Misión Anglicana, Plaza Cívica, Mirador Las Hayas en subida al Martial, zona industrial, centro comercial son algunos de los lugares por donde te llevaremos a descubrir el fin del mundo.

How is the tour like?

We invite you to take a tour visiting the places with historic interest in the city.

We will start with an explanation of the geographical location that makes Ushuaia a unique destination, between the Beagle Channel and the Andes mountain range. Along the way we will learn about the Yamana people (first inhabitants), the Anglican missionaries, the arrival of the first Argentinians, the opening and closing of the prison and the establishment of the Industrial Promotion Law and its consequences.

 

Ushuaia Bay, Encerrada Bay, Anglican Mission, Civic Square, Overlook Las Hayas (on the way up to Martial), the industrial zone, and downtown are some of the places where we will take you to discover the end of the world.
